China and Canada Join List of Sites That Feature World Cup Video Online

SMGBB.cn has been granted first ever exclusive authorization from FIFA to provide broadband Internet TV content of the World Cup 2006 event in mainland China and has selected Sohu.com as its exclusive portal partner. Sohu.com will work closely with SMGBB.cn to deliver World Cup broadband Internet video and photos to Chinese Internet users and football fans.

Rogers Yahoo! customers in Canada will be happy to know that they too can tune into the 2006 FIFA World Cup action online. The Rogers Yahoo! Video Player will provide users with non-stop quality highlights from the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The site claims to have "near-live" video highlights when the games begin. On a side note, Rogers Wireless will also be offering video and text highlights via phone.
