ICC T20 Cricket World Cup

ICC World Twenty20 2009
The ICC World Twenty20 2009 will be the second time a world event for Twenty20 cricket has been held. The event, which feature 12 teams in the men's tournament and eight teams in the women's competition, will be staged in June 2009 at Lord's, The Oval, Trent Bridge and Taunton. Participating women's teams: Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies. The Women's tournament takes place June 8-21. Participating men's teams: Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland. The Men's tournament takes place June 1-21 and is broadcast live online by Willow TV.

UEFA European Under-21 Championship - Final

Qualifying for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship kicked off on May 31, 2007 and ran until October 15, 2008. The final tournament took place June 15-23. Seven nations and Sweden, who qualify automatically as hosts, qualified for the eight-team final tournament England, Finland, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Belarus, Italy, Serbia. Semi-finals took place June 29, the Final takes place June 29. Watch the game live online.

The Travelers Championship, a golf tournament on the PGA Tour, is held annually on the course at the TPC River Highlands, Cromwell, Connecticut. The purse for the Par 70 is $6,000,000. Current Champion is Stewart Cink. This year's Travelers Championship takes place June 22-28. The tournament will be broadcast live online on the PGA Tour website from June 25-28.

The Ford Ironman USA Coeur d'Alene takes place on June 24, 7 a.m., in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It will feature more than 1,800 triathletes from around the globe. All courses are two-loop affairs and include a 2.4 miles swim, a 112 miles bike, and a 26.2 miles run.

The FISA Rowing World Cup comprises three international regattas per year. At each regatta, the nation with the most points wins the Rowing World Cup Leading Nation Cup. In 2009, the Rowing World Cup series will take place in Banyoles/Spain May 29-31, in Munich/Germany June 19-21, and in Lucerne/Switzerland July 10-12.
