ICC World Twenty20 2009
The ICC World Twenty20 2009 will be the second time a world event for Twenty20 cricket has been held. The event, which feature 12 teams in the men's tournament and eight teams in the women's competition, will be staged in June 2009 at Lord's, The Oval, Trent Bridge and Taunton. Participating women's teams: Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies. The Women's tournament takes place June 8-21. Participating men's teams: Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland. The Men's tournament takes place June 1-21 and is broadcast live online by Willow TV.

 Qualifying for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship kicked off on May 31, 2007 and ran until October 15, 2008. The final tournament took place June 15-23. Seven nations and Sweden, who qualify automatically as hosts, qualified for the eight-team final tournament England, Finland, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Belarus, Italy, Serbia.
