The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (the "Arc") is a Group 1 flat horse race for thoroughbreds aged 3 years or older and the most prestigious horse race in Europe. It is held every year in early October at the Longchamp Racecourse in Paris, France. Distance is 2,400 m or approx. 1.5 miles and the prize purse is about 4 million Euros.
