What a hard one this was. Denser than ANY previous edition, a full 10 minutes in length, and chock full of material that could not be glossed over or approximated. On top of the technical difficulty, I also had 3 false starts before I found the shape of the episode. But- here we are after 30+ hours of editing- and I'm very proud of the result.Sorry for the long dry spell. I hope it's worth the wait. Hopefully future episodes will be easier but I doubt it- my standards are becoming very high and I'm determined to do justice to the text.My favorite bits in this one 1) the transition from the flag to the man on the hilltop- notice how the stripes carry over. 2) The clip of the hand diagramming the sentence- can you read what it writes? (PS It also is purple writing followed by a burning purple bill- i'm big on color) 3) I liked bringing back the specific images i had used for Identity Causality and Force. 4) Notice that when Galt talks about a government reversing its proper function, the Wash Monument is reversed in the reflecting pond. 5) The fist punching followed by the hand cuffed. 6) The timing out of the music to coincide with the rocket launch- I tweaked the clip speed slightly to make it come out right.
