Northwest Miami-Dade Building Destroyed In Suspicious Fire 6/14/06 Noon Yusila Ramirez Arson investigators are checking out the scene of a suspicious fire in Northwest Miami-Dade. A two-story building located at 3200 Northwest 32nd Avenue went up in flames late Tuesday night. The abandoned building, which used to house a restaurant, was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. During the firefight, parts of the roof collapsed but luckily, there were no reported injuries. Firefighters are checking into the possibility that the fire may have been intentionally set. Police have issued a 'be on the lookout', also known as a BOLO, for a 39-year old man who was spotted near the fire and may be connected. However, no one is in custody at this time. A fire marshal will eventually determine the exact cause of the fire, which is still unknown at this time.
