Storm Chase 1996-2001 by Robert Prentice
Duration: 0:56Source: YouTube
This is a free preview of the DVD program "Storm Chase 1996-2001 by Robert Prentice." It contains brief video clips set to music. The DVD showcases storm chase video shot in SVHS and digital-8 formats between 1996 and 2001. The program features: 1. Benkelman, Nebraska tornado (May 22, 1996) 2. Atwood, Kansas tornado (May 22, 1996) 3. Sterling, Oklahoma tornado (May 3, 1999) 4. Chichisha, Oklahoma tornado (May 3, 1999) 5. Moore/Oklahoma City F5 tornado (May 3, 1999) 6. Gracemont-Spring Creek, Oklahoma tornadoes (October 9, 2001) The Atwood, Kansas tornado caught my storm chase partner and me off-guard as it formed behind us and blew out our back windows as it raced over our chase vehicle! The historic May 3, 1999 Sterling to Moore, Oklahoma tornadic supercell was highlighted by an F5 tornado which tracked from just northeast of Chickaska to Moore to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This killer tornado produced the strongest wind speed ever recorded on planet earth...301mph (+/- 20 mph) measured by the Doppler on Wheels (DOW) near Bridgecreek, Oklahoma. Four compelling, original music video segments showcase my best 35mm images as well as incredible time lapse storm video. Order the DVD at: http://members.cox.net/rprentice/shop.htm
