Worst Experience: Getting caught in the 90 degree heat, a foot of wet mud, and 100,000 people pushing us- to move at the Gentilly stage @ the Allman Brothers...not fun! TOURING MY OLD NEIGHBORHOODS VIA TAXI AND SEEING THAT THEY ARE COMPLETELY GONE... BOARDED UP BUILDINGS, MAKESHIFT MEMORIALS... URBAN WASTELAND....Sad... Best Experience: Being back in Nola. Swimming in the rooftop pool of the Omni Royal Orleans after a day of heat and crowds...sipping a margarita in the pool. Best Deal: 2 for 1 frozen margaritas at the Country Flame Worst deal: 7 dollar budweiser bottles at the FAMOUS DOOR. Coolest thing bought: Some African art in Congo Square Call or write your senator or congressman NOW and please ask them to rebuild New Orleans...if it can happen to them it can happen to you!
