I popped the Midnight Robe on Yggdra so she could take on the assassins near Ortega. Worked like a charm: she won every battle. Yggdra's not THAT weak, as she demonstrates here. Milanor loves this map because it's filled with Wasteland squares, hence his ability to completely decimate the Fencers early on. Durant gets a Bridge, Nietzsche has Water and Yggdra has Fort terrain, so all of them are happy as well. Use the terrain to your utmost advantage. I set Durant and Nietzsche up such that if Durant is attacked by Mizer (I'm guessing so because Mizer has Warp Shoes and'll land next to Durant if he moves that direction), Nietzsche will get pulled into the union on her Water square. Also, the Upola Statue is obtained on the square the Nietzsche moves to. I believe Milanor is the only one who can get the Bronze Shield in the village at the upper-left of the map. I don't know if the time of day impacts it or not, I just go for it early on. I'm planning on Yggdra getting the +2 MVP bonus. If I can get Yggdra to level up again, she'll have 3 ATK naturally, which can be boosted to 4 ATK with an ATK UP item. I'd ideally like +2 GEN (puts her at 3 GEN naturally) or +2 ATK (puts her at 3 ATK 2 small stars, and Flamberge will kick it up to 4 ATK). There's a 50% chance one of these will happen, so it's worth it IMO to replay this map til you get one or the other. As always, Yggdra needs to do the most Morale damage, so lay off Milanor a bit so Yggdra can build up a lead over him. Items obtained in this map: 1. Bronze Shield: GEN UP, Atk -2, TEC DOWN. I used it once but didn't find it all that useful. It might come in handy in Map 32, though I never let any catapult into the enemy formation so it wasn't useful. I think it restores up to 6000 morale, though... 2. Upola Statue: a really WEIRD item, -2 GEN, -2 ATK, -2 TEC, LUK UP, revives the user with 80% morale if they die while it's equipped. It also breaks and becomes the Split Upola Statue, which is a horrible item (GEN DOWN, LUK DOWN, cannot counter at all) and lasts for 3 grueling maps. I really don't like this item so I just get it and use it for morale.
