From Jeff Redd's debutalbum "Quiet Storm" ________ Jeff Redd hails from New York and started out his musical career at the age of seventeen as member of the Sophisticated Gents. Jeff Redd made his solo-entrance into the world of r&b with the amazing Quiet storm album in 1990. As a singer/songwriter and producer Jeff started out with Uptown records which eventually led to an MCA record deal. The album contained contributions by the likes of Timmy Allen, Audrey Wheeler, Chubb Rock, Ron Dean Miller (from Nuance) and K-Ci and JoJo. Commercially the album didn't prove to be a success as wasn't his Down low album from 1994.
