Big crowds for Hingham Arts Walk
Duration: 2:56Source: YouTube
Works from 40 artists on display in shops and in open studios were among the attractions that crowds enjoyed during Sunday's Hingham Arts Walk. At Winston Flowers, people admired Sandra Allen's realistic tree drawings. Families enjoyed getting custom illustrations from children's book author and illustrator Joan Drescher. Page Railsback, who conceived of the walk, along with fellow Hingham artist Gary Nisbet, hosted her son's jazz trio in the courtyard behind her North Street studio. It was the perfect accompaniment to the falling leaves and his mother's art, said Judy Sneath, director of the Hingham Downtown Association.
