Tess and all her pre-tween (Tess and Justin may be tweens-- but the rest are too young to meet the defnition of that demographic) friends Caroline, Jack, Justin & Julia went to their first "concert" this weekend. But instead of a rock stars they say TV stars turned rock stars. I guess it's like a page out of the Monkees playbook as the gang went to see Drake in concert with the Drake Bell Band. Drake's from the Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh. The show is about the various antics of two teenage boys with contrasting personalities who become stepbrothers when Josh's father marries Drake's mother. Drake is a popular guy who likes to play the guitar and sing in his band. He also likes to date as many girls as possible and really not that diligent, while Josh is a responsible, studious character who is unpopular in his school. The grown ups report the concert had six thousand mini-fans standing in line for autographs from Josh and other young actors/musicians from Nick. The show was apparently shooting the concert as well.
