Western Mail is rugged and savory western movie fair. Tom Keene was one of Monogram Pictures biggest stars and Western Mail was the last of a string of popular cowboy movies. A twist on the classic straight forward cowboy hero, Keene was known for going undercover and posturing as one of the bad guys. Keene must save the lovely Julia Trent and do plenty of gun slinging along the way! Wonderful mustache twirling villains populate this colorful and cheeky Wild West adventure. Keene would go on to a longer film career, playing villains himself and even appearing in the Ed Wood classic Plan 9 from Outer Space.
