Richard Widmark stars in this action classic about a platoon of US Marines fighting the Japanese on a Pacific island during WW 2. A great supporting cast of Richard Boone, Neville Brand, Jack Palance, Reginald Gardner, Karl Malden, Martin Milner and Robert Wagner(in his first film role) make this one a true classic.
