Acclaimed actor Joe Mantegna introduces Gary Sinise, who pays special tribute to the "citizen soldiers" of the National Guard and their families at home during PBS's NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT. Shock waves have run through many towns across America that are deeply impacted by the loss of these men and women when tragedy strikes. The 2007 NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT airs live on PBS from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on Sunday, May 27, 2007 from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. ET (check local listings). Hosted by acclaimed actors Gary Sinise (CSI: NEW YORK) and Joe Mantegna (THE SIMPSONS), THE 2007 NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT on PBS will focus on the brave servicemen and women who have been injured in the line of duty and examine the history of the hallowed burial ground of Arlington National Cemetery.
