Newton Fellowships are available to mathematically sophisticated individuals who are interested in using their talents to make a difference in the lives of young people. MfA seeks recent college graduates and mid-career professionals who can demonstrate a strong interest in teaching, have a bachelor's degree with substantial coursework in mathematics, and are willing to commit to a five-year program that includes one year of full-time graduate study and four years of teaching mathematics in New York City secondary schools.
