Dean Maki, chief U.S. economist at Barclays Capital Inc., talks with Bloomberg's Rhonda Schaffler in New York about today's report on U.S. consumer prices in April and the outlook for the economy, Federal Reserve monetary policy and commodity prices. The consumer price index increased 0.2 percent, less than forecast, after a 0.3 percent gain in March, the Labor Department said.
