Gas war leads to changing prices in Bismarck-Mandan
 Source: ClipSyndicate
Its an old fashioned gas war in Bismarck. This is how Mike Rud with the North Dakota Petroleum Marketers Association describes the recent drop in Gas Prices. Stations are now selling gas between two dollars and eighty nine cents and two dollars and ninety six cents. Rud says these are the lowest prices being reported in the state right now. (Mike Rud/ ND Petroleum Marketers Association) you want to try and make a margin on your product and most Of these folks in that $2.96 range are probably selling at cost or a little bit below depending on when they got product in. So yeah it has a definite impact and hopefully its a short term deal that our marketers can get through and this thing wont last very long. Rud says there is no telling how long this gas war will continue. However, this afternoon stations in the Bismarck area have started to raise their prices to three dollars a gallon.
