Adam Kokesh in Solidarity with Eve Tetaz
Duration: 2:03Source: YouTube
At a press conference, on Nov. 2, 2007, in Washington, D.C., in front of the D.C. Superior Court, Adam Kokesh of the Iraq Veterans Against the War, shared his views on the case of Ms. Eve Tetaz. Background: Ms. Eve Tetaz is a 76-year-old fighter for Peace and dedicated opponent of the illegal and immoral Iraq War. She was arrested on July 29, 2007, on Capitol Hill, in an attempt to visit Sen. Hillary "War Lite" Clinton (D-NY), and to confront her with respect to her complicity in that conflict. The Feds accused Ms. Tetaz of violating a "Stay Away Order," along with three other supposed offenses. She has refused to plea guilty to any of the charges. Ms. Tetaz will admit to only being "peacefully at the scene" pursuant to her Constitutional Right to Petition for a Redress of Grievances, which is enshrined in the First Amendment. On Nov. 2, 2007, a "status hearing" on her case began at 9:30 AM, at the Washington, D.C. Superior Court. Ms. Tetaz faces jail time, if convicted on any of the four charges.
