A promotion caused commotion today on the KU campus. A symbol and date spray-painted on a sidewalk started a scary; but false rumor. The rumor related today's date to a shooting incident over fall break. Officials are still unsure how the rumor began, but insist there's nothing to worry about. The painting was an innocent promotion for a music CD.
