A week after finishing in a tie for last at the World Tour stop in Norway, reigning Olympic and 2003 world champions Emanuel Rego and Ricardo Santos completed a reversal of fortunes as the Brazilians captured the men's gold medal here Sunday. Emanuel and Ricardo, who posted a 17-21, 21-14, 18-16 win in 61 minutes over Australians Andrew Schacht and Joshua Slack for gold, have now earned all three Montreal Open podium spots the past three seasons at Stade Uniprix in Jarry Park, including a third in 2005 and a second 2006.
