The Dalton Highway starts north of Fairbanks, Alaska and ends at Prudhoe Bay on the Arctic Ocean. The first 100 miles are almost paved and the remaining 300 miles are gravel or dirt. The Alaska pipeline runs parallel to the Dalton Highway. The background music is the song "May It Be" by Enya as found on the soundtrack to LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring.
