Everyone assumes Renee will win a cash prize offered to the school's top student, but the arrival of a brilliant transfer student named Ann might change everything. Jacob and Buford befriend the awkward new girl, and refuse to believe Renees suspicions that Ann is being given answers to test questions by Principal Greedyguts so he can claim the cash. Renee overcomes her jealousy to help the boys discover Anns surprising secret.
