Adopt Tahoe, The Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation
Duration: 0:33Source: YouTube
Introducing Tahoe Sky. Tahoe is a chestnut grade gelding that was foaled in 2003. He stands about 14.2 hands, has excellent ground manners, and does well under saddle. I have had the opportunity to spend some time with this loving and affectionate horse. He tacks up easily and is a nice ride. This is our first ride-no prep, just tack up and on just to test how he'd behave. I pref a bitless rope halter/bridle and treeless saddle and he has never been exposed to them, (to my knowledge), and he took to them quickly. I then put on his bridle to see how he handled and I was pleased as well. He is an easy reiner, nice trot, smooth canter-enjoyable & fun. Would make a wonderful horse for that person looking for a one on one relationship. He could also fit in with the right gentle mannered horse as he is currently with mine. He is eager to please, only 6 years old-stay on top of him to keep him in check, gentle reassurance that you are there for him. He needs love, affection and an intermediate rider and/or experienced trainer nearby at first to pave the way to a successful horse/rider relationship. I would even consider him for my 10 year old as he has major potential...he's got the stuff...he just needs the right loving hand and heart to trust in again. *See www.mnhoovedanimalrescue.com for more details about Tahoe.
