Show Notes: - We're back in Boulder with less than two weeks to race day. As Dieter said yesterday, the hardest training still remains. This video was shot during a 30K workout around Table Mountain. - I mentioned yesterday that James Koskei has been added to the Boston field, but I forgot to mention that Gilbert Koech has also been added to the Rotterdam field. Both athletes proved they were in great shape in Iten and are training well in Boulder. - As this 30K shows and as I mentioned yesterday, the guys are being more conservative in their training this season. There hasn't been any spectacular training, compared to the times run in previous years, but everything has been solid. The guys seem to actually enjoy the hard workouts; they look forward to them. That tells me that they're plenty rested and confident in their progress leading up to race day. I've learned from last season not to get overly optimistic, but I would say that things are going as planned. Of course, both races (Boston and Rotterdam) have very strong fields so nothing will be easy. - I filmed an interview with Dieter today, which I'll post later this week. I think you'll enjoy it. - Just a reminder that the auction ends this Saturday at 9AM Eastern Time. And thanks again to everyone who has made a donation to one of the three Foundation programs. The support has been amazing. - Music in episode 19 comes from the podsafe music network. "Mountains" by Kate Pfaffl and "Finish Line" by Steve Parsons.
