The Lions Club for Fort Frances, Ontario, held their first annual Dande-lion festival at the Lion's club park on June 22, 2008. The event saw the laying of new bricks surrounding the Fountain of Hope. Other activities at the festival included a barbecue and a performance by the Borderland Orchestra.
