BURGLARIES. TWO ESPANOLA TEENAGERS ARE IN CUSTODY TONIGHT... ACCUSED OF ROBBING TWO KIDS WHO WERE AT HOME WATCHING T-V. AT ONE POINT.... POLICE SAY THE INTRUDERS EVEN HELD A GUN TO THE 10-YEAR OLD GIRL'S HEAD WHEN HER 11- YEAR-OLD BROTHER DIDN'T COME UP WITH ENOUGH MONEY. RAY SEVA HAS THE STORY FROM OUR SANTA FE BUREAU. THE ORDEAL HAPPENED AROUND 1-30 SUNDAY AFTERNOON. ESPANOLA POLICE SAY THE TWO INTRUDERS KICKED OPEN THE FRONT DOOR OF THIS HOME AND DEMANDED ONE DOLLAR FROM AN 11-YEAR OLD BOY. POLICE SAY THE 16-YEAR OLD AND 13-YEAR OLD ROBBERS THEN WALKED UP TO THE BOY'S 10-YEAR OLD SISTER, DEMANDING FIVE DOLLARS. 'When she refused, that's when one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and pointed it at her headordering her to give her the money:' BUT SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING. POLICE SAY THE INTRUDERS THEN RAN AWAY. THE SIBLINGS CALLED THEIR MOTHER WHO WAS AT WORK. SHE THEN CALLED POLICE. 'The two victims knew who their attackers were. So did the police.
