After trying to explain such things to someone with no avail, I've decided to once and for all it all done. I brought my friend along to help discuss these things. As he happens to be a Physicist, he knows all about proper scientific terms and methods. With his help, we'll be explaining the following things: just what evolution actually is, what the scientific method is, what actually makes something a theory, why evolution is more solid a theory than certain Evangelical Christian idiots would like to say it is, and why creationism can't be held to a scientific standard. We also take the time to talk a bit about the man named Kent Hovind (I refuse to put the Dr. in front of his name, as he has no real credentials and is NOT a PhD), and the ridiculous video of his, called "100 Reasons Why Evolution is Stupid." I have to warn you, this is pretty long. It's almost an hour in length, and I had to cut it up into six parts. I also get a bit irate as this goes on, since it's really beginning to burn me up how there are people preying on the ignorance of a population who are not being properly educated. My anger is towards those spreaders of lies, pseudo-science, and misinformation, and not necessarily on those who fall for it... well, unless they continue to hold onto stupidity after they've been given the straight dope on things. Then I can't help but see them as idiots. It's a failing. Still, if you guys can stomach those flaws in this series of videos, you will hopefully be educated on what what evolution actually entails, and just what constitutes real science. If so, then I feel I've done my job here. Of course, if after this people still come up to me with misinformation even after watching this... well, let's just say it won't be pretty. By the way, there is no music in this. I wanted to make sure people can concentrate and absorb what my friend and I are saying (plus as I worked all day editing these videos, I don't feel like picking out the music for each part... there's lot more to it than you may think).
