For the first time in 70 years, the U.S. Supreme Court is expected to rule on a controversial amendment to the U.S. constitution which some say protects individuals' right to own guns. The court's decision, which could come this month, stems from a court challenge of the strict ban on handguns in the nation's capital Washington, DC. Legal experts say it could result in significant changes to local laws and gun control measures in other jurisdictions around the U.S. VOA's Chris Simkins reports on the debate that has drawn passionate voices on both sides of the issue.
