L'association israélienne de défense des droits de l'homme B'Tselem a diffusé, dimanche 20 juillet, une vidéo datée du début du mois, qui montre, dans le village cisjordanien de Nilin, un soldat israélien tirer une balle en caoutchouc sur un Palestinien menotté et les yeux bandés à 1,50 m. L'armée israélienne a ouvert une enquête et le soldat a été arrêté. Dans un communiqué, Tsahal déclare qu'"il s'agit d'un grave incident en totale violation des règles de conduite et de sécurité".
