Welcome to Honor Your Truth The “Is It True Series?” Episode Twenty-Eight “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” If one is good, aren’t two or three better? I used to think that was true about wine…if one glass was good, more would be better, right? Red wine is good for you. I know I read that on many occasions in more than one place. Facts that I believe will come in handy seem to flash like neon lights, saying “buy, buy, buy”. I buy ‘em! I keep them stored away for whenever a situation calls for an explanation……when I need a “special license” to do what I want to do when I want to do it. I pull them out of my hat or wherever else I have them hidden. I’m telling you that I may not remember who was in what movie when I want to, but facts like these, I remember these. Notice how I call them facts when I personally don’t really know them to be facts. I’m tricky that way. I can trick myself and believe what I want to believe. Like, chocolate is good for you. I have conveniently decided to ignore the tag…..dark chocolate. See how I roll. I like chocolate, but I prefer milk chocolate. I don’t like white. Frankly, I’m not even sure if that is chocolate. I’ll eat it in a pinch, but only in a pinch. I used to eat a whole “Symphony” bar every night. Every Night. No, not the small ones….they’re small potatoes…the huge ones…..the huge ones that won’t discreetly fit into any jacket pocket. I have found little ways to have what I want, but not be soooooo extreme. I like Lintz truffles. If you haven’t had them, I’m telling you…..you have to try them. They are single serving truffles…like a big gumball….gumball of chocolate delight. You can even get the ones in the royal blue wrapper that have a dark chocolate shell. I feel like I am being really good, with the dark chocolate and all. I h...
