通常状態ではコンピュータの起動を少しでも早くするために、ハードディスクドライブから起動する設定になっています。 Windows をインストールする場合は、インストールCD、または、DVDから起動させるため、「起動デバイス1」に「光学式ドライブ」、「起動デバイス2」に「ハードディスクドライブ」を指定します。 なお、起動デバイス1の光学式ドライブから起動するのは、インストールCD、または、DVDを読み込む最初の1回です。インストール中の再起動では、インストールCDに読み込みに行きますが、無視してそのまま放置しましょう。そうすれば、起動デバイス2のハードディスクドライブから起動して、インストール作業が再開されます。
