Un Boeing 747 australien a effectué, vendredi 25 juillet, un atterrissage d'urgence sur l'aéroport de Manille, aux Philippines, en raison d'un trou dans le fuselage, sans faire de blessés, ont indiqué des responsables de la compagnie et de l'aéroport. Selon des passagers, après un "bruit terrible", l'avion de la compagnie Qantas, qui reliait Londres à Melbourne, via Hongkong, a fait une chute de plus de 6 000 mètres.
