This is a dry playthough of Classic mode. It's to get an idea of what kinds of times are possible for speedruns. I play on Easy with Ike with hope of killing people with a single hit (Ike's Forward Smash). Damn shame Rest got nerfed. No, I don't have an intention to do a real speedrun for this. This was just for the hell of it. Stage 1: The Legend of Zelda 7.12 An ideal setup (one character on Eldin Bridge). I missed the first Fsmash, but got the second. Stage 2: Donkey Kong and Yoshi 16.34 Worst possible situation. Therefore, performance was lacking. It would be best to fight on Rumble Falls. Stage 3: Pokemon 3.39 Perfect setup. Near perfect execution. I could've moved a little bit forward before charging the Fsmash. Stage 4: Fire Emblem and Mother 25.35 You don't want to fight on New Pork City in a SR. You definitely want Castle Siege. Break the Targets #1 4.92 Can't be improved too much. No more than half a second. Stage 5: Kirby 18.32 The situation really doesn't matter, although two-on-two isn't best. To get the best time, you have to trick your opponent into staying on the bottom level when the platform takes off. Dedede didn't fall for it, but Meta Knight did sadly. Stage 6: Metroid and Pikmin 28.65 It would probably be best to fight Olimar. I actually think I got the worst case scenario. At least I got lucky with that Bob-omb drop. Stage 7: Star Fox and F-Zero 24.97 You don't want a two-on-two here. Either you want some sort of one-on-one with Captain Falcon or a multi-man fight. If Falcon, there's a wall on Port Town that is almost guarranteed to kill Falcon if you hit him into it. I killed Falco pretty quick though. Stage 8: Super Mario Bros. 15.05 This is the best situation, and I executed it flawlessly. Stage 9: Kid Icarus, Ice Climber, Gyromite/Stack Up, and Game and Watch 8.45 There are a lot of options here. This is probably one of the better ones.
