It was one of the nicest days of the year so far and last week of Winter near Chicago Illinois. Steve Stohr was out flying his K-2 unlimited sailplane at the sod farm, when a flock of Sandhill Cranes migrating back North started theramalling right over the field! Steve attempted to get his sailplane in on their thermal ride with some success. The Cranes didn???t seem to mind. 3-15-2009
