Judge Donald Jorgenson denies a bond reduction for a man recently released from prison for killing his wife and is now in jail for assaulting his girlfriend. It will take twenty thousand dollars cash to get Jerome Morsette out of jail. His attorney Rauleigh Robinson says Morsette is not a flight risk and has appeared at all previous court hearings. Prosecutor Lloyd Suhr says Morsette has a violent past and a history of alcohol. He says 20 thousand dollars is appropriate. Suhr says this case mirrors Morsettes manslaughter case. Morsette pleaded guilty in 1999 to pushing his wife out a vehicle while he was driving. Morsette was charged earlier this month with assault for biting his girlfriend on the forehead.
