Welcome to Honor Your Truth The “Is It True?” Series Episode Fifty-Eight “Love is Blind” I never want to shut down, to put a wall around my heart so towering that no one can climb it and so dense that no door can open it…..but I want to be more careful. Move slower, for I often do not shelter my heart like it deserves. At first, I believe everything; I have no reason not to. While I do not want to lose this innocence, so far, it has not served me very well. And even though I know this…..I forget it every time. I fall hard, I fall fast…and I can’t see straight. I trust without question. I believe what I hear and when I see evidence to the contrary, I ignore it and think I’m mistaken. I protect myself from pain with an imagination…..and create a reality based on the potential I see…..the potential I see in everyone….the child within…unbroken…..a ray of light. To let go of this is to let go of life. I am trapped and I wait. I don’t want to miss it, if it finally does appear….this love. People say that ignorance is bliss and it may be that it is, although I cannot live in a world where the words I hear do not match the actions I see anymore. It is crazy making. I must to stick to the facts… wait for them to come in…and if something seems strange, wrong, if it feels “off”, it probably is. If something hurts, it may be that it’s hurtful….and maybe there’s nothing wrong with me after all. I can no longer honor the lies, only the truth, but at what point does one let go of the hope to ever hear it….to hear the words, “I’m sorry”, from an awakened heart. I have witnessed people who become able to be honest with themselves change. I know that it’s possible, but it is a choice that some are not capable of …too deep in shame…not willing…..not ready yet…….and may never be. I cannot f...
