The 2nd Annual Cheese and Apple Festival at Midtown Global Market will take place Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 1 to 4 p.m. Visitors can sample, take home recipes, and learn about how these fresh, local foods work together. MGM restaurants will also offer specials on cheese and apple foods throughout the day. There will also be an apple and cheese recipe bake-off, judged by local celebrities. The top 10 most unique recipes submitted by the public will be prepared by the professional caterers from the Market’s Kitchen in the Market. Those that submit the top three vote-getting recipes will receive Midtown Global Market gift certificates.
