iReport — Do animals feel emotions? Can a cat be jealous of a lion?Watch this video where the given story is explained, so you can form your own opinion. Here it is in plain text:A family is on safari in Africa. They also have their cat with them. They tie her to a tree using a very short rope (not allowing the cat to climb the tree). A dog comes and attacks the cat. the cat’s claws were cut so it can not defend herself or climb a tree. Just in time a lion comes out of the forest and kills the dog using his long and sharp claws. Is the cat jealous of the lion because of his long claws, angry at her owner for cutting hers and tying her to a tree, both, or neither? The Cat Jealousy Hypothesis Project is a debate about whether animals can feel jealousy, other emotions, and how this is expressed.
