iReport — I am exploring decades through video, song and images.  The majority of the 80’s were my formative "Coming of Age" years.  BIG was in; hair, shoulder pads, music videos... My personal obsession was Michael Jackson however the birth of hip-hop was also crucial to this decade of decadence.  Ahh--early hip-hop --when the lyrics were fun loving and really strived to spit out an artistic story.  Albeit this track came out in the dawn of the 90's it is still early enough to be the perfect backdrop of my mini-version of "Cooley High". I grew up in the "Cereal City" capital which explains all the Tony the Tiger shots LOL!  But this is Battle Creek, Michigan--the way it was for me in the 80's!
