Bush gets Stoned
http://www.scmp.com/video/ While talking to the South China Morning Post during a recent visit to Hong Kong, earlier this week, Oliver Stone was adamant about his view about George W. Bush. "He’s a two-dimensional man" he told film editor Clarence Tsui. Unlike the director’s former presidential characters, Kennedy and Nixon, the central role in "W." was more simplistic. "Bush is more like a piano concerto next to a symphony, and the movie reflects that," he said. What’s even more surprising is how Stone, well known for his left-leaning political views, made a film that actually makes a likeable guy out of Bush. Watch highlights of the interview with the acclaimed director in his suite at the W Hong Kong hotel.
