여유증이란?남성의 유방이 호르몬 불균형으로 인해 커지는 것을 말하며사춘기가 될때까지는 뉴방의 성장과 발달이 남성이나 여성에 있어 별다른 차이가 없으나 사춘기에 이르면 남성은 생식기에서 남성 호르몬이 분비되어 유방이 더 커지는 것을 억제하고여성은 여성 호르몬이 분비되어 계속 발육하게 됩니다.여유증은 어느 연령에서나 발생하지만 최근 비만인구의 급증과 스테로이드 부작용으로 인해 점차 증가하는 추세입니다.대부분 한쪽 가슴에만 증상이 나타나며 어떤 경우에는 가슴바로 주변조직만 볼록 단추처럼 커집니다.
