Hello I’m Rebecca Field with today's UPI entertainment update on this Friday, February 29, 2008. Angelina Jolie is calling for more aid in Iraq. The actress and activist wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post urging the U.S. to help those displaced by the war. Jolie, who recently traveled to the region says refugees are in need of more financial and material aid. The actress says 4 million have been displaced by the Iraq War and a large percent of those are children. Britney Spears apparently making a comeback. E News online says the pop star is preparing to work on a new video for another song off her album Blackout. She's apparently been spending a lot of time in the dance studio recently and sources say she plans to start rehearsals four days a week. Meanwhile the singer has been spending more time with her sons recently. Spears saw them yesterday for the third time this week. Sources say she was very affectionate with them. Boy George is pleading not guilty to charges of false imprisonment. The singer was arrested last year for allegedly chaining a male escort to a wall in his London home. Boy George was released on bail until his trial in November. Young superstar Miley Cyrus is signing on to host the music competition Nashville Star. The Hannah Montana star will apparently host the new season...which starts this summer on NBC. Nashville Star will begin casting next month in several U.S. cities...looking for the next big country singer. Stars hit the red carpet in L.A. last night for the premiere of the new drama Snow Angels. Cast members Kate Beckinsale and Michael Angarano were there along with the film's writer and director David Gordon Green. The movie is about a teen's life and his relationship with an old babysitter. It 's set for U.S. release early next month. That's all for now.
