Die zijn doorgaans (veel) goedkoper dan merkonderdelen, maar de kwaliteit is van hetzelfde hoge niveau. Vaak komen ze zelfs van dezelfde producent en zijn het exact dezelfde producten! Een BOVAG onafhankelijk autobedrijf gebruikt dan ook bij voorkeur huismerkonderdelen.
