La Honda Films announced today the online "ePremierTM" of the film Buffalo Hearts, produced by La Honda Films and directed by Elanor Togliatti. Buffalo Hearts is a fantasy about the American Indian experience and modern life, as Cheyenne Chief Black Wolf (David Carr-Berry), haunted by his visions of the future, sets out on a vision quest that leads him from 1803 into the world of the 21st Century. This film will be made available for no charge, both as Video on Demand, and on the IndyFree.TV Internet Television channel. The ePremier program provides marketing and Internet broadcast of independent films, with revenues from the program being shared with the participating film-makers.
"I am pleased to be able to ePremier Buffalo Hearts, and I think that this program is a good opportunity both for us and for the film-makers," said AmericaFree.TV CEO Marshall Eubanks. "Many Independent films are never distributed commercially, while our first two ePremiers have been viewed, partially or entirely, by almost 30,000 people to date," Eubanks continued. "This production was a wonderful form of self-expression which I hope the Internet audience will enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed directing," said Director Elanor Togliatti. "I am glad that we can take advantage of this new distribution mechanism for our film."
