ManiaTV!, an internet television network delivering pop culture entertainment for Gen Y hipsters, today announced the launch of "Warehouse: Behind the Scenes," a new show committed to exposing what goes on behind the network's closed studio doors.
Tre Rudig could be in the ManiaTV.com technology department interviewing an engineer on the complications of serving up millions of videos each month, or perhaps interrupting CEO Drew Massey while in a conference, or speaking with fans directly in the ManiaTV.com chat room (MiP). One thing is for sure, Monday through Friday Veteran host and Live Programming director, CJ Tre will be delivering Warehouse, ManiaTV.com's newest show, LIVE, to millions of ManiaTV.com viewers, much to their excitement. After quietly launching, Warehouse has grown numbers in the 12-1pm EST time slot and attracted interest from blue chip advertisers who want Tre to integrate their product into new segments such as "The Ticker," a news for the weird update, and "Eddie Vegas," the sports-gambling fanatic cum statistical genius who has amassed an unprecedented 15-4-1 record for picking football games.
"I dreamed up this show to be funny, fast moving, intimate and informative." Said Tre. "People think of websites as 3 guys in a basement, but what we are doing here is so much more than that. We have nearly 70 young, creative, and interesting people pouring their energy into developing a TV network like nothing that has ever existed before. There are dozens of projects going in every depar tment and there is never a dull moment. I thought taking viewers inside of this magic would be a hit and the feedback during our covert launch, thankfully, is proving that instinct correct."
CJ Tre is using his creative hour to conduct polls, contest, and interactive brainstorms aimed at immersing the audience in what everyone at ManiaTV! believes is the formula for television in the new era. In addition, CJ Tre will lead segments entitled, "What's Up Mania?" "What are You Working On?" and "Hey CJ" all designed to give ManiaTV.com's audience a glimpse into how the network operates, what projects different people are working on and who the other hosts really are when off camera. Episodes will also be made available on demand as a MyTV channel http://www.maniatv.com/tv/Warehouse
"With the popularity of shows like Studio 60 Sunset Strip," said ManiaTV! VP of Programming and 3-time Emmy winner, Richard Ayoub, "we decided to embrace a similar concept but take it to another level - reality. For the first time viewers will be invited behind the scenes of an actual internet TV network. We show the audience everything, from a talented individual creating innovative 3-D animations to promote the network, to our visionary CEO engrossed in high-level strategic discussions with our management team. We are also using this to test short segments that, if popular can become the viral hit Hollywood Minute has become in syndication."
"This is a great pilot and the results in a few short days, have been tremendous" said Peter Clemente, CMO of ManiaTV!. "Warehouse:Behind the Scenes offers a perspective on internet television that viewers won't find anywhere else on the planet. What better way to market a company than to provide a means for viewers to become invested? Warehouse and our new MyTV platform accomplish that brilliantly."
