SIVOO Holdings, Inc. today announced it has reached new agreements with five of the top producers of multicultural entertainment programming, including Comedy Time Network, Excalibur Media Group, Caracol Television, Telefe and Metro TV. As a result, SIVOO will expand its Spanish-language portal (www.sivoo.com/spanish/en) to include an additional 1,000 hours of new Latino on-demand entertainment programming from Argentina, Colombia and Mexico.
As part of an agreement with Comedy Time Network, SIVOO will provide viewers with on-demand access to stand-up comedy routines from the best of Comedy Time Latino. This includes the best Latino Comics taped at the finest comedy clubs around the country. Viewers will also be able to choose from several "Funnysodes," including the popular series "Beverly Hills Barrio." The Comedy Time Network is one of the first made-for-mobile networks and is the global market leader in original comedy cont ent created for wireless handsets.
In addition, SIVOO will offer a series of boxing matches under its agreement with Excalibur Media Group. The on-demand fights will feature Mexican boxers, including female featherweight boxer Jackie Nava, light welterweight boxer Pipino Cuevas, Jr. and Ulises Solis, the current IBF World light flyweight "Champion of the World."
SIVOO will also expand its current Spanish-language drama line-up with new soap operas and telenovelas from Colombia and Argentina based on agreements with Caracol Television and Telefe, respectively. Some popular titles include: "Historias de Hombre Solo Para Mujeres," "La Guerra de las Rosas," "Resistire," "Tangled in the Net," "Frecuencia 04" and "Maria Madrugada." In addition, SIVOO will provide viewers with top travel, food and entertainment programming from Colombia via its agreement with Metro TV.
The new SIVOO Latino content will be live by Saturday, May 5 in honor of Cinco de Mayo.
