Developed by In Extenso Media, a Montreal based web and postproduction company, YouSwitch is a cutting-edge and cool interactive entertainment product that enhances the connection between fans and artists during live music events.

The connection between an artist and fans requires that they interact directly and there is nothing better to do so than during a live performance. YouSwitch allows the user to take control and to become responsible for the directing and editing of their favourite artist's pre-recorded or live concert. In addition to the traditional webcast format, YouSwitch gives users ability to look at four video streams simultaneously (4 different camera angles) and allows them to create, by the use of an intuitive console, a mixture of individual streams they would like to view. Thus, they can build their own sequence and have the final cut of their favourite artist's concerts and music videos.

During a live event, YouSwitch brings the viewer at the heart of the show by providing 4 different choices of camera angles. They can switch between the cameras and choose to watch full screen the show from the angle of their choice. Youswitch is also built around a fully interactive site with social media features. For the first time in the world, a concert will be broadcasted LIVE using the interactive Youswitch technology. It will take place SAT 8 at 3.45pm. The Youswitch Osheaga will be accessible through www.youswitch.tv

The Youswitch is for this first event only available with Internet explorer, but a flash version will be available few days after the festival.

The concert will be available for viewing for free after the event and a contest will be made around the show. The public has to create the official clip of the artist, using the Youswitch editing tool.
