But distributors complain that it is too controversial for the general public. HEART of the BEHOLDER is based a true story of religious censorship, intolerance, and political corruption.

PermissionTV announces its interactive Internet video technology platform powers BostonPops.TV, the inaugural online video initiative by an orchestra. The Internet TV programming is available free of charge and includes an array of video features, including award-winning music ensembles, behind-the-scenes footage, expert interviews and conducting lessons.

Hulu launches beta of its online video service, offering viewers a vast selection of streaming, on-demand, premium programming on a free, ad-supported basis. Hulu content includes full-length current and archived television programming as well as clips and an initial selection of feature films.

Hulu announced it has signed licensing deals with MGM and Sony Pictures Television, marking a major milestone in its mission to bring consumers the most comprehensive selection of premium video content online. A collection of over 40 television shows from Sony will be made available at Hulu.com, while full-length television shows and feature films from MGM will be available through the Hulu service. Hulu will also offer content from two leading broadcast networks (Fox and NBC), over 15 cable networks (Bravo, E! Entertainment, FX, Sci Fi, USA, and more), four of the largest Studios (Fox, MGM, Sony and Universal) and a broad array of independent, web-centric content providers. In addition, Hulu announced content partnerships with such leading programmers as Reveille, Smithsonian Networks, and World Wrestling Entertainment.

NBCSports and NBCOlympics, in conjunction with online sports broadcaster Media Zone, will provide LIVE online coverage of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Men’s Marathon from New York City on Saturday, November 3 and the 2007 ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 4. The action kicks off on Saturday as the top American male athletes compete for the chance to represent the U.S. in Beijing next summer with LIVE streaming coverage of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Men’s Marathon. MySpace rolled out an original scripted web series, Roommates, in collaboration with Iron Sink Media and sponsored by the 2008 Ford Focus. The first of 45 episodes goes live today on MySpaceTV with new episodes debuting each weekday at 1:00 pm PT/ 4:00 pm ET through December 21. Roommates is the company’s first co-development project and the first original web series created specifically for MySpaceTV.

Roommates is an original scripted web series that follows a group of eight former college roommates after graduation. The four main characters – Peyton, Violet, Heather, and Sigourney – move to Los Angeles where they are invited to participate in a “reality show” by living in a house wired with cameras and computers to document their every move. The series is a combination of raw and voyeuristic segments, confessionals, and college flashback footage, and allows old friends and romances of the main characters to address viewers interactively via video blogs.

Comedy Central has been working on the new home of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart". The website, thedailyshow.com, features video clips from every episode dating back to 1999, the year Jon Stewart took over the reins of "The Daily Show," and will be expanded to include the show's entire video history, totaling well over 13,000 high-quality clips. The International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), in partnership with Google's YouTube, and The Find Madeleine Campaign announced the creation of a new initiative that will provide worldwide exposure to information and videos of missing children. A new YouTube Missing Children's Channel has been created exclusively for posting videos of missing children. The new channel can be found at http://www.youtube.com/DontYouForgetAboutMe.

Case information and videos of missing children will first be submitted to ICMEC for review and verification before posting on the new channel. ICMEC will work with analysts at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), local and national law enforcement on U.S. cases, and with Interpol on international cases to confirm it is an open case and verify the details of the case and video. After the case information has been certified, it will be forwarded to YouTube for posting. Anyone with information about a missing child featured on the website will be directed to contact the appropriate law enforcement agency.

ESPN360.com will adopt a new programming strategy this fall, becoming a live sports-driven programming service. Under the new programming strategy, the ESPN Digital Media and ESPN Programming units will collaborate to present more than 2000 live events on ESPN360.com in the next 12 months, dramatically growing the service's programming and delivering to fans live, multi-sport broadband action.

Some of the most notable were the World Cup and X Games. According to ESPN, ESPN360.com delivered more than 200 live online sports events in 2006, and through July 2007, had featured more than 500 live events.

A new user interface for ESPN360.com is in development and scheduled to launch in fall 2007.

YeboTV, a next generation web based TV network, announced that it will stream Slayer's concert at the San Diego Sports arena on Saturday, August 25th. This will be a live real-time stream viewable to fans globally on YeboTV, in addition, fans can access the broadcast on Slayer.net, HotTopic.com, and esp.com.

The San Diego concert is a stop on Slayer's current North American co-headline trek with Marilyn Manson and is in support of the release of Slayer's "Christ Illusion, Special Limited Edition" (American Recordings) CD/DVD which hit stores on July 24.

AmericaFree.TV, a US Internet Television broadcaster, and Lucid Vision Entertainment announced today the online “e-Premier” of the film Custody by Eric Stuyvesant and Lucid Vision Entertainment. Custody is the story of Rick Stevens, a single-family father whose wife walks out, leaving him with 3 sons to raise alone. This film will be broadcast for no charge, both as Video on Demand, and on several of the AmericaFree.TV Internet Television channels. The IndyReels.TV e-Premier program provides marketing and Internet broadcast of independent films, with revenues from the program being shared with participating film-makers.

VH1 joins Princes William and Harry in commemorating the life of their mother, the late Diana, Princess of Wales, with the "Concert for Diana," broadcast live from Wembley Stadium on her birthday Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. EDT and 8:00 a.m. PDT.

Music fans will be able to enjoy the concert across a variety of VH1 platforms. The 6-hour concert will be broadcast live in its entirety on VH1, be streamed live on VH1.com and be simulcast on MHD: Music High-Definition, MTV Network's high-definition music channel. The concert will also air on VH1 Classic starting one hour after the live concert ends. In addition to the live online stream, the concert will be available for on-demand viewing at VH1.com following the event.

Will Ferrell and his 2 year-old co-star Pearl from FunnyorDie.com's award-winning video "The Landlord," will reunite once again in "Good Cop, Baby Cop," an exclusive new video premiering Monday, June 25 at (8:00 PM) on Funny or Die, the funniest place on the web. In the video, Ferrell portrays "Angel," a hard-nosed criminal who refuses to cooperate with the police, leaving them no choice but to call in their toughest lieutenant -- a baby cop, known in the precinct as "The Confession Machine."

Funny or Die is a new video website that launched in April of 2007 and is already one of the most visited comedy sites on the web. A key ingredient of the site's success is its focus on a new genre of content: the raw and experimental look and feel of user-generated video, turbocharged with celebrity talent. "The Landlord," a video featuring Funny or Die founders Will Ferrell and Adam McKay has been viewed over 35 million times.

"Good Cop, Baby Cop" marks Pearl's farewell performance. The 2 year-old, who rose to stardom following "The Landlord's" debut on Funny or Die this past April, is retiring.
