The Barclays Premier League is England's professional league for association football clubs and its primary football competition. Every season, which runs every year from August to May, 20 clubs play 38 games each.
A total of 43 clubs have competed in the Premier League, but only four have won the title: Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Arsenal, and Chelsea. Other teams include: Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Evertona, Fulham, Hull City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Portsmouth, Stoke City, Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, United Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 2009-2010 Barclays Premier League, the eighteenth season of the Premier League, takes place from August 15, 2009, until May 9, 2010. The current champions are Manchester United, with 11 Premier League title the most successful Premier League team.
