Expedition Impossible is a show that airs on ABC and debuted in June of 2011. It is produced by Mark Burnett, the producer of several episodes of "Survivor". In Expedition Impossible thirteen three person teams are sent on an adventure across the challenging Moroccan terrain.

The teams main objectives are to be the first to make it across the sun-drenched ridges, snow-capped peaks and raging rivers to claim the prizes of a new car each and $50,000 dollars each. The producer, Burnett, is hoping the show will prove to be a fun and creative television extravaganza and an exciting summer escapade.

Expedition Impossible retains 400 camera men and crew along with skilled mountain guides. The contestants are required to demonstrate skills in river rafting, horsemanship and mountain climbing before they can join the show.

Expedition Impossible is hosted by all around dare devil, Dave Salomi. Burnett's goal with the new show is to create an "Indiana Jones" type experience for its contestants and its viewers. He hopes to inspire people to get off of their couches and do something adventurous and unique.
